Authority Site Center
Written by ady on March 30, 2008 – 12:49 pm -I’ve just signed my better half up for a place at the Authority Site Center and I intend to review her progress here. She has picked up a little SEO from me and I set her up with a blog at the back end of last year for her to play with and learn the ropes. It now pulls in over 1000 uniques a day which isn’t half bad for a first attempt and she has been pestering me to get her to the next level so I thought signing her up with the Authority Site Center would kill 2 birds with the one preverbial stone as I’ve been interested in the program for a while.
In fact I’ve come close to joining the Authority Site Center more than a few times. I like Jack Humphrey and I’ve purchased the odd tool from him before, I scan his blog, get the odd e-mail etc. The only thing that has always stopped me signing up is the time involved.
I know people who are making a very good living with an Authority Site Center blog but they put the hours in and its the hours I don’t have to make a fair go of it and do it justice. I already spend over 14 hours a day in front of my lap top so giving another 4 hours up for Authority Site Center would either kill me or see me single again!
I’ve told her I’m not going to get involved although if she wants my opinion on something I am happy to give it but at the end of the day the site will succeed or fail because of her choices.
She has just finished her first webinar and is busy doing the research involved in choosing a profitable niche. The training looks excellent and is quite intense with around 5 or 6 weeks initial research work before you put your site up!
They are certainly pointing out to her the one thing that most people fail to understand, it will take a lot of work to make a site that you can be financially dependent on. They are recommending a minimum of 4 hours a day of work if you are to make a success of it. Pretty heavy going if like her you have a 9 to 5 job as well but it’s good they make it clear from the start rather than filling peoples heads with bullshit about how they will be making “$12 671 in just 90 days from now with only 10 minutes work a day.”
It takes hard work, determination, a little good fortune, the right tools and good guidance to succeed in any business and online is no different. It looks like The Authority Site Center provide the guidance and tools but you will need to bring the other items to the table yourself if you are to make a go of it.
I suppose her one advantage is that because of me she knows it is possible to make a living online and she already knows how much work is involved but if she didn’t, the ASC training is leaving her with no doubt.
So my first impressions with the program are excellent although its early days and obviously the object at the end of the day is to make money faster than you spend it. The Authority Site Center costs $97 a month at the moment (its usually $197) and normally I would expect to be breaking even within 3 to 4 months in a program like this.

I’ve really enjoyed both parts of the review for Authority Site Center and look forward to hearing how the monetizing of the site is going.
