Making Money With PLRPro Ebooks
Written by ady on July 7, 2008 – 1:16 am -I have been asked how I sell the ebooks that you get with the PLRPro ebooks membership site so here’s a few notes off the top of my head.
The first thing I would recommend is to pick one of the PLRPro ebooks out of the 3 and concentrate on that. By all means save the other 2 for a later date but there is no way you will successfully set up and promote 3 a month, there is just too much work.
Give yourself a goal or target. I set my goal to sell 1 book per site per day. At $30 profit (after costs) per book and 1 new site per month means that at the end of a year I will be pulling in $30 x 12 sites = $360 a day or just over $131K a year. The real money will be made in year 2.
It won’t work out like that of course but to average 1 book sale per site is a very achievable goal so its something to aim for.
I can absolutely guarantee that if you are simply downloading, unzipping and publishing you will be lucky to make 1 sale a year.
Find your own angle on the ebook and do your keyword research. Don’t be greedy and go for keywords with tons of traffic because they also have tons of competition. Go for phrases with 3 or 4 words and between 10 and 50 searches. Take each phrase to google and search for:
allintitle:”your four word keyphrase”
If there are less than 5000 results is good, less than 2000 is a very good one and less than a 1000 is a great one. If you want to compare it to something, put the #1 keyword in and see what the competition is!
Once you have your keywords, rewrite the articles to suit. Treat the articles simply as research notes. Use them as a reference and completely rewrite them based on your new keyword phrases.
Create a new squidoo profile based on your site, ie. if its about dog training be a “part time kennel worker, full time dog lover.” Write unique content for your lens and then spend an hour a week adding to it, voting on related lenses, leaving comments etc. Put links in your content to your articles on your blog/site.
Group your original 10 or 20 keyphrases into groups of 3 and write unique articles based on those groups and submit to Ezinearticles with links pointing to each of the 3 original articles on your site/blog.
Once they have been accepted into ezinearticles submit them to as many others as you can. Consider a service like isnare that submits to 1000 directories for $2
Find related blogs and leave meaningful comments.
Don’t write “great article, thanks for sharing” write something like “while i agree with your points about blah blah blah, I think you are off the mark when you say blah blah blah.”
It proves you read the article, it makes you appear an authority if you have something meaningful to add to the article and people will follow your link to see what your other opinions are.
Don’t be put off because blogs use the nofollow rule in comments. Many people think this makes leaving comments a waste of time. Google does follow the link (it just doesn’t count it as a link away from the page hosting the link) and will index what it finds at the other end. But apart from the robots, people follow the link if you have something worthwhile to say.
Sign up and create an account at gather. Spend time creating your profile and create something useful for the community. Don’t try and sell your book or anything else. Just use your articles to point a link to an article on your site/blog.
Open a new account at onlywire and sign up to all the bookmarking sites. Bookmark each of your articles at your site, at related sites that you leave comments on, at your squidoo lens and your gather articles.
Create a blogger blog and create unique content for it and post it with links within the text pointing at articles on your site/blog.
Learn everything you can about Web 2.0 here.
That should keep you going for a while. There are tons more sites out there like gather and squidoo and blogger that you can also create profiles and use to promote your new site.
You want new accounts and profiles for each new ebook site you create.
www.plrproebooks.com have given you all you need to build a very profitable online business but like any other it’s going to require some graft on your part. If you are prepared to put in the work I am happy to give you a hand so if you have any problems or require further advice, PM me in the forum.
