Promoting Your Pages With Article Marketing Automation
Written by ady on September 11, 2008 – 9:13 pm -
In the last post I went through the process of how I write an article and use Google’s free keyword tools to find the phrase I will be targeting with the article. In this follow up I’ll be going through the promotion process using Article Marketing Automation, the new service from the guys at PLRPro.
The day after I posted the article it appeared in the Google results for it’s chosen phrase (keyword tools) at number 440 out of 7,100,000 results. This looks pretty impressive but we had already discovered that only around 5000 sites had been optimized for the search term when we did our research so really it’s 440th out of 5000.
The only promotion the page has had is the initial social bookmarking that each of my pages get automatically when I post using Socialize It Pro which accounts for the 440th spot instead of the 5001st.
I’ve now written an article and submitted it to Article Marketing Automation, the new service that’s part of the PLRPro Big Green Button system. This part of their Big Green Button system is open to all so if the results here go well enough to tempt you, you can sign up here.
Basically its an extremely large blog network which has thousands of blogs all owned by folks like you and me and all wanting quality posts on them (you can submit any blogs you have for free if you would like them in the system) to keep them fresh and updated. The article took around an hour to prepare as I wanted to make it as spinnable as I could because I want as many links as possible to be unique. Here’s an example of how you write a spinnable article for the AMA system:
{Article Marketing Automation~AMA~The new article marketing automation} is {great~wonderful~perfect~superb} for {marketers~internet marketers~IM’ers} because {each~every} link {comes~is} from a unique {post~article} which means the link {is worth~carries} {far~a lot} more weight than from {a usual~a normal~any other} article that is simply {reproduced~copied~re-used~used time and again} on {100’s~hundreds~thousands~1000’s} of {sites~blogs~websites}
In this one sentence example there are hundreds of variations. The system selects at random one of your variations seperated by the ~ symbol in between each of the {} symbols. So a finished sentence could be:
“AMA is superb for IM’ers because every link is from a unique post which means the link carries a lot more weight than from any other article that is simply re-used on 1000’s of blogs.”
After preparing the article as above and submitting it at Article Marketing Automation I then selected the category of “search engine optimization” and all the blogs in the system that have selected that category as the theme of their blog over time will get a variation of my article.
Here’s where it gets even cleverer though. In normal article marketing you write it and submit it to EzineArticles and the other big 4 or 5 article directories. Any webmasters who like it then publish it on their site, usually nothing more than a poor mans article directory. Your article includes your bio with your links in it pointing to your pages you are promoting, a sure fire givaway the post is from an article directory.
Google doesn’t like duplicate content so the only copy of your article that is any good for SEO purposes is going to be the first one you submitted to EzineArticles. Google will count the link in that article as a vote for the page it links to but the rest count for very little and probably nothing.
By spending a little longer and preparing your article to be submitted into Article Marketing Automation each and every article will carry weight and be classed as a vote for the page it links to because they are all different.
Another thing Google doesn’t like is lots of links pointing to a page suddenly appearing. They smell a rat and assume you have either paid (another google no no) for the links or used spam techniques to get them. AMA gets round this by drip feeding your articles on to the blogs, it doesn’t just post the lot and that’s it. Your links appear gradually over time and will continue to grow indefinitely.
Google rankings are all about the number of links a page receives and the anchor text used for that link and if you doubt that, do a search for “click here” and you will find the download page for Acrobat reader in the number 1 spot because of all the webmasters who have a link to it using the anchor term “click here”. BTW, no where on the Acrobat page does the term “click here” appear.
I’ll report how the “keyword tools” post climbs the search results using Article Marketing Automation at a later date. It won’t make top 10 over night but will gradually climb over time looking all nice and natural and not raising any red flags.

I just don’t like the monthly fee. It would be nice to have a starter price. Then as traffic and income grows people can add more to it.
When the revenue isn’t that high yet, $47/mo is a little steep.
I’ll come back and see how you are doing.

I’ve been doing article spinning for years. Clients can get a lot more spun articles for their money than they can individual articles. It’s cost effective and it provides far more content than individual articles.

Because I’m in PLRPro I get the service for free so I wasn’t aware there was a fee. I wrongly assumed from the forum chat with plrpro that the service was open to free membership to bulk up the numbers.
I’ve double checked and you can add your blogs to the system for free but you are charged a monthly fee if you want to post articles to the system.

Your PLR Article Rewriter is the most gay tool I’ve ever seen and if you have wasted your and ours time on it, you are probably gay too. If you are gay, I suggest you move to Munich or Brighton, nice hunky gays are already waiting for you, you can also join a nice gay-choir, they want you too. Then, you can join YMCA and join the Navy and join your fellow man. This will be better for us and for you. Because you are gay and just live with that.
