Taking The Blog Feeder Bait
Written by ady on October 8, 2008 – 9:12 pm -Well I took the bait over at Article Marketing Automation and entered the competition for most blogs submitted.
I wasn’t going to bother as I’d not long finished the Portal Feeder competition (finished 3rd) and I wanted to have some time doing some much needed (and neglected) promotion work. The reason I changed my mind was that I had put in all the blogs I wanted to without giving any thought to the competition and ended up in 9th place. Without adding anymore for the next week I expected to disappear off the leader board but actually only slipped down to 14th.
Being so close to the 10th prize of a years free subscription to PLRPro with just 4 days to go, it would be rude not to go for that last spot.
I gave my campaign a kick start this morning by adding 8 blogs on unique IP’s which gets me 40 points (5 points for unique IP and 1 point for shared).
I’ve got another bunch ready to go in but I want to wait and see how far those get me first. The point system gets updated once a day which is good.
I enjoyed the competition for the Portal Blog Feeder. Although it was slightly different to the Article Marketing Automation one, the principals are the same. They put up great prizes to encourage people like me to give up their usual schedule to spend time growing the blog feeder systems.
Obviously it’s not just the prize you are winning though, the prize is the bait to get you off your ass and if you do, win or not you have built yourself a very useful commodity that without having to touch again will bring in money for the forseeable future.
