Promoting Your Promotions In Article Marketing Automation

Do you submit your article to Article marketing Automation, pat yourself on the back and forget it? If you do, you are missing out on some major improvements in your search engine rankings. I’ve had some great results by promoting the blogs within Article Marketing Automation that are hosting my articles.
Here’s how I do it.
Usually an article I submit to Article Marketing Automation will carry a link to the home page of one of my sites I am promoting plus a link to one of its money pages and one deep link to a suitable article page within the site. Over the next few weeks I monitor the blogs hosting my articles by following the ping back notifications. You will find these on your Wordpress dashboard once you log into your admin area.
If you are promoting a traditional website, check your Awstats (within your cpanel) and have a look at “links from an external page other than a search engine” for clues as to where your articles are being hosted. While only pages that have brought you human traffic will show up in this list, this isn’t a bad thing as it shows these pages are already getting traffic so are worth promoting further.
Each one I visit I ping at Technorati by pasting the url here to make sure they are aware the blog is linking to mine. I also randomly add them to 1 or 2 social bookmarking accounts and submit the RSS url to several feeds using this free service.
This entire process takes under a minute but I also bookmark any blogs that i think are a cut above the normal blogs I find my articles on. This would be a personal choice but I look for some page rank, a nice theme etc. Then, next time I submit an article to Article marketing Automation that is on topic, I’ll use one of the links in the article to promote my post on that blog.
This builds page rank for that page which in turn greatly increases the value to the links on the page that are pointing to my site.
You will see some really big improvements in traffic, search results and page rank by spending just a little time promoting your promotions following all or some of the steps above.
