Blogging To The Bank 3

So Blogging to the Bank 3.0 is out on Monday morning. The speed at which some of these guru’s cash in with follow ups to their products is a pet hate of mine but it’s been over a year since the 2nd edition was released so the author Rob Benwell get’s off to a good start, in my book anyway.
I dug out and dusted off the cyber dust from my copies of Blogging to the Bank 1 and 2 just to remind me of what they were about before doing this post. The trouble is though that because they are old (in internet marketing terms), the content seems old hat now and I had to remind myself that when I first read V2 back in Oct. 07 it was ground breaking stuff and caused quite a stir.
The build up to Blogging to the Bank 3 so far seems low key, from Bob himself anyway and nowadays that can be taken as the sign of a good product as the seller is relying on both his and the products good name to drive his sales rather than having to share profits with all the usual suspects who bombard our email boxes telling us how much they made in the last 3 months using a product that’s yet to be released!
One thing I didn’t like about the pre-release video that’s currently being shown here is the obligatory “proof of earnings.” They all do it but wouldn’t it be great if just once they showed you their Clickbank earnings WITHOUT the sales they made from selling V1, V2, or V19 of their product?
Rob shows you 2 Paycheck totals from 2007 and 2008 and says they are Clickbank earnings from his network of blogs. Both were for around a quarter of a million dollars each and as his product is supposed to show you (among other things) how to make money from affiliate sales it would have been much more powerful if he had also said “and those earnings do not include sales of V1 and V2 of Blogging to the Bank or any other make money products of mine on the market.”
Will I be buying Blogging to the Bank 3? Well as I bought 1 and 2 it would be rude I suppose not to. Apart from not wanting to be rude to the author though, I’ll mostly be buying it because I learnt a lot from the previous editions and as Rob is one of the good guys I have no reason to suspect that I won’t also learn a fair bit from Blogging to the Bank 3.
I’m particularly interested to see if he’s included Article Marketing Automation in his new Blueprint. I know he’s a member of PLRPro so I would be amazed if he isn’t using it as one of the methods to grow his blogs.
