About
Thanks for stopping by. If you like my what you read, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed and help my blog by adding me to your Technorati. If not, no hard feelings and happy surfing!
The original idea of this blog was to promote the parent domain but it quickly turned into a rant about being bombarded with sales letters for that weeks “next big thing” and the next thing I know is I’m making posts about how I make my money online.
Blah blah blah, the internet is full of blogs from internet markers telling us how they rebel against the machine. Well yes it is and I read a few of them myself and I like to think some are genuine. I spend my day sat at home with my laptop in front of me and I make my living. Lucky bastard? You bet. I feel lucky when a mate calls round in the work van for a coffee and has a moan about the job he’s on at the minute. It reminds me how I used to make a living and I feel lucky to be out of it but I also remember how hard I worked to be able to pack the day job in. It was hard work that got me out of it rather than luck.
I worked stupid hours, I made tons of mistakes, I spent money on the “next big thing” when I couldn’t afford it. But one day it clicks, it comes together. You find someone that isn’t bullshiting you and it all becomes clear. When you look back at how you struggled and how close you came to giving up, you can’t help thinking how great it would have been to find a blog that gave it to you straight and pointed you in the right direction and it gnaws at the back of your mind for a while until finally, you get it started and i’m guessing thats how most of the guys who started a similar blog to this felt themselves.
Thing is though, I may well have found that help and not realized it but that’s what the money making niche does to you. After you buy and try plan after plan and get robbed time and again, you don’t trust a soul. You (rightly) feel they are all robbing bastards that lie through their teeth and who would be jailed if they used their sales methods in the real world but somehow its accepted that you can lie in your sales pitch on the web. We are told we should know better, everything you read on the web should be taken with a pinch of salt. Trouble with the money making niche though is GREED.
Everyone wants it easy and no one dare risk not buying the next big thing just in case it really is the next big thing and the thought of missing out scares them. A good sales letter will bring out the worst in us.
Rant over - The Important Bits
There is very little money to be made from these types of blog. I post here not to make more money but to help people who are looking for help. I may recommend a program or service and I may use an affiliate link to point to that product or service. I do this with a clear conscience because I have purchased or use the service myself and know for a fact that it does what it says on the tin. I will never recommend anything I don’t own or am not a subscriber to. If you are a regular visitor you will soon realize for instance that I am a big fan of PLRPro and as such I plug them. Its because I know they deliver a great service and the owners were the first to actually say to me “this is how you make money online” without lying to me. I tell everyone to download their ebook because it was by following the plan in that book that I started making money online. I want others to benefit from the help the owners gave to me starting out.
They gave me my first plan of action and my first decent break. I’ve been a member a year now. Would I still be a member if I didn’t think it was worth the money? Of course not but people in this niche are doubters, they don’t believe, so much so that they don’t download a free book and spare an hour reading it and seeing what its about. You can only offer your help, you cannot force it on someone.
My 2 part series on creating a money making blog explains exactly how I make a lot of my money. I didn’t leave anything out. I’ve made shed loads of money using those exact methods and its there for anyone to copy my plan so I’ve done my bit. I’ve given something back, whether its acted on or scoffed at remains to be seen.
